Memorial Neuer Börneplatz

The Neuer Börneplatz memorial in Frankfurt  commemorates the Jewish community of Frankfurt that was destroyed in the Holocaust. I can’t really do any justice in describing it, as I really had no idea of the full story of what I was photographing until I researched it later. Main Tower – Aerial view of Frankfurt

One of my jaunts around the city took me to the Main Tower, the elevator ride took only 45 seconds to the top – from Wikipedia: Main Tower is a 56-storey, 200 m (656 ft) skyscraper in the Innenstadt district of Frankfurt, Germany. It is named after the nearby Main river. It is the only skyscraper in Frankfurt with a public viewing observatory.
