I have acquired different action figures and sometimes take them out for photo shoots.

This is where I think it started, I was up early or up late one day and got an idea that, after multiple attempts got this shot, which I have titled Tigger’s Selfie.

Here are a few with different light situations.

Several elements here. First, all the electric lights are off. The main light source is my iPhone, which is off to the side, and a lighter. I set the camera on manual with the shutter set for 10 seconds. I then waved the lighter around the scene. I thought about trying to edit out my hand, but it would probably take more time than I want to spend, and it kind of adds to the effect. Another cool effect that I didn’t think about is the sparks from the arc igniting the lighter.

I have shot them in the snowy backyard, I’ve taken them to a couple of fall festivals and they have traveld to Palm Springs and Chicago.
