Part One – Splitting this one up since it’s been so long since I’ve posted anything. Hopefully there won’t be such a large time gap until the next one.
Hohenschwangau is at the base of Neuschwanstein Castle and Hohenschwangau Castle. To get to Neuschwanstein Castle you can take a bus, horse drawn carriage or walk. It’s a 30-40 minute walk which we did, and with it being Fall it was an absolute goregous hike! Also there is a bridge that you can walk across and get some very spectacular views of the castle.
